Set Up in Minutes

Webhook message branding is immediate. An independent identity requires a community-owned Discord application and owner-only secure activation.

Upgrade

Choose Enterprise in the server-owner Dashboard. Checkout applies the entitlement to the selected server.

Create

Create your community's Discord application, configure its bot name and avatar, and invite it to the target server.

Request

Save the Application ID in the Connected Community Bot panel, then enter the bot token only in the one-time activation field.

Activate

AeThex verifies the token, application, guild installation, and entitlement before activation. The dashboard must report Online before the independent bot handles automatic events.

Common Questions

Message branding uses an AeThex-owned webhook, so Discord can still identify AeThex as the underlying application. A provisioned independent bot uses your community-owned Discord application and appears as that application.

Not for message branding. A genuinely independent bot identity requires the server owner to create and install a Discord application. The owner enters its Application ID and one-time token in the protected Enterprise lifecycle panel; AeThex validates it with Discord, encrypts it immediately, and never returns it to the browser.

Every published community receives aethex.bot/your-handle and aethex.bot/community/your-handle. Enterprise and Founder Pass servers can verify a custom domain and activate AeThex-managed HTTPS from Community Studio.

Your server downgrades to the free plan at the end of the billing period. All custom branding settings are preserved — if you re-subscribe, they reactivate automatically. No data is lost.

Message branding is cosmetic. An independent bot is a separately connected AeThex-powered client and must show an Online status in the dashboard before it replaces the main AeThex bot for that server.
